Full time baby sitting is available for younger ages.

The Hermit Crab Club is a free daily activities programme that has been designed to enable overseas children to experience the culture, heritage and traditions of the Fijian people, whilst having fun in a holiday environment. The programme runs from 0930 hrs in the morning, breaks for lunch, resumes in the afternoon and includes (at cost of meal) a supervised dinner and finishes at 2030 hrs.

This allows time to join with parents towatch our signature shows commence on stage in the theatre restaurant, which the children sometimes perform in. Parents can relax and enjoy their own vacation together, knowing their children are being well cared for by our Hideaway staff. The programme focuses mainly on children being given the opportunity to have a rewarding Fijian cultural experience through activities such as traditional picnics the Fijian way on the beach, local school children's meke performances, informative bush walks, hand-line fishing, glass bottom boat excursions, bonfires on the beach, hermit crab and eel catching, snorkelling lessons, demonstrations of coconut weaving and a whole lot more.

Because of the small number of children, usually around 8-15, the programme can be tailor-made to suit the individuals staying at the Resort, and further incorporate the well known activities of treasure hunts, sand castles building, and water slide rides etc.

It is our belief at Hideaway that children should also be able to leave from a vacation having made new friends, having experienced the whole new 'world' of Fijian life and having had a fantastic fun vacation in our Hideaway family surroundings.
