Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa has a free activity and entertainment program with new and exciting activities operating daily that run from morning to night. Professional entertainment is programmed nightly in the theatre restaurant, by the pool or in the Fire Walking Arena.

Activities have been especially designed to enable you to gain the maximum enjoyment from your holiday. Enjoy new discoveries related to Fijian life, try a new sport or simply enjoy the pleasures of doing something you may already be familiar with.

  • Snorkelling

    Snorkel and explore the lagoon with live reef directly in front of the resort. Snorkelling gear is available from the Activities desk.

  • Surfing

    An easy paddle directly in front of the Resort for a right hand reef break that is famous throughout the Coral Coast. Surfing is consistently good year round and is best surfed two hours either side of high tide. Surf tours can also be arrange at the resort. Surf tours, surf school, board hire and more can be booked with TRU-SUP Fiji, based at Hideaway Resort. [Link to :]

  • Village Tours

    The nearby village of Tagaqe welcomes visitors from the Hideaway to experience their way of life. Regular tours introduce you to the elders and Chief of the village. Sunday church services are a favourite with guests as the children of the village sing gospel songs in the village choir.

  • Culinary Cultural Experience

    Learn how to cook Fijian style with Lovo food cooked in banana leaves in an underground oven – Lovo pit.

  • Traditional Kava Ceremony

    Each evening, the local Tagaqe villagers perform the traditional Kava ceremony which has been performed for centuries by the Fijians and still holds great importance today.

  • Fire Walking Ceremony

    Each Thursday, watch the amazing firewalking ceremony by the local villagers, then enjoy a traditional Lovo feast in Chief’s Restaurant.

  • Daily Activities

    Free daily activities include beach volleyball, tennis, kayaking to guided tropical garden walks.

  • Nightly shows

    Nightly entertainment includes a full Polynesian dance show, the fun of Perfect Partners, a children’s fashion parade, and traditional Fijian entertainment.

    The Rosie Tour Desk can organise all of your half day and full day tours, ranging from world class golfing, to deep sea fishing and cultural tours.
